Universal Horror at the Castro

 

The theatre marquee I never thought I'd live to see.

 

Note the top line on the marquee front annoucing the next attraction. Sex + horror indeed!
 
The display facing the sidewalk outside had some stills and clippings. Inside the covered entrance is a nicer display of posters and lobby cards that unfortunately I was not able to photograph this time.
 
 
The mighty Wurlitzer! The organist played a suite of music between features, including The Bride's Theme ("Baaa-li Hiiiiii!") and The Monster's Theme from Bride of Frankenstein.
